To apply for a student visa you should have following ready as an applicant

4. Pay tuition fees and obtain your CAS letter
After your successful interview with the university, you need to pay remaining tuition fees and submit your financial documents in order to receive a CAS document. This is a very important document for your visa application as your university will provide all the important information in this document.
5. Visa Documents
This is an important step and most consultants does not have expertise in visa application.
You will need to submit all the documents you have presented to the university along with proof of funds to support your living in the UK and medical certificate.
6. Visa Application and passport submission
Your agent will book date of the appointment by paying for your visa and UK medical fees. On the appointment day you should carry all the supporting documents. The officer at the VFS will scan your document and registering your biometrics. You donot need to do much but make sure all your documents are scanned by the officer
7. Visa Outcome
In general outcome of a standard visa application will take around 15 working days. But you should also be prepared for a telephonic interview with the home office.
